Program Manager - Bioethics Program Bioethics Program Full Time 81959BR Job Summary The Program Manager works closely with a group of inter-disciplinary UCSF faculty engaged in bioethics activities (education, research or clinical). In close collaboration with faculty, the Program Manager support the program's strategic direction and creates and manages long-term goals and oversees operations of the Bioethics program.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $92,900 - $153,100 (Annual Rate). UCSF Bioethics connects faculty, staff, students, and trainees from across UCSF, creating a protected space for moral reflection that spans the university's professional schools and health system. Faculty members conduct original research and policy analysis on a wide range of topics. They consult on moral and ethical concerns while embedded within bioscience or clinical projects. They devise strategies to effectively incorporate patient and citizen input into ongoing governance of science, clinical practice, and public health practice. And they provide a Research Ethics Consultation Service and direct educational programs for UCSF's four professional schools. Required Qualifications
