This is a PRN position based in the Metro Detroit area.
The Flex Program is comprised of nurses within our system that float to multiple of our hospital sites under the same type of unit. This specific posting is for Emergency Center areas only. The Regional Flex RN covers 5 of our 8 area hospital locations, with at least 3 being in our South Metro Detroit region: Dearborn, Wayne, Taylor, Trenton, Royal Oak, Farmington Hills, Troy, and Grosse Pointe hospital sites. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS Education / Training: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Diploma, A.D.N., B.S.N., M.S.N., DNP/PhD Work Experience: 2 years related acute care nursing experience and active experience in area of specialty, required. Must demonstrate proficiency through competency testing in all nursing areas eligible for floating. Certification, Licensure, Registration: RN with active license in State of Michigan. Specialty Certification highly recommended after 2 years in specialty. ENPC/TNCC certifications, required Other Qualifications: Current BLS certification through American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation and other certifications as required by department.
