Physician Assistant Gyn Surgery Oncology GYN - Surgery and Oncology Full Time 81918BR Job Summary The PA position is a Surgical First Assist. The role of the First Assist will be to participate in and actively assist surgeons during the preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative care. This position will assist in completing the operation safely and expeditiously by helping to provide exposure, maintain hemostasis, and other technical functions under the supervision of the surgeon. Must be able to travel to and between operating rooms at a rapid pace. Inpatient post-operative care will also be required. Must have good organization, judgment, problem solving, and safety awareness skills. The ideal candidate will thrive working in a high paced academic environment with focus on teamwork and excellent patient care. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $89.66 - $120.66 (Hourly Rate). License/Certification
