Here's what you'd do:

  • The client seeks a seasoned Communications Analysis Engineer or an Electronic Warfare (EW) Analysis Engineer to join our dynamic team.
  • This role is pivotal in providing advanced technical expertise in communication systems and EW for various Department of Defense (DoD) and joint research initiatives.
  • As part of our innovative workforce, you will play a crucial role in the full spectrum of development activities, encompassing the initial proposal stage through requirement definition, coding, simulation, synthesis, placement, routing, verification testing, and ongoing system support.
  • Your primary focus will be on spearheading the development of system architectures and leading teams dedicated to algorithm design, analysis, simulation, and implementation support for complex systems that span multiple processing elements.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $125.00 / hr.

Hours: 9/80 hrs/Week (1st shift)

Length: Temp to Direct (12 Months)

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science or Electrical Engineering.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Minimum of 14 years experience in Leadership in system architecture, algorithm design, analysis, simulation, and implementation support for complex designs within multi-faceted systems incorporating multiple Software Processing elements.
  • Minimum of 14 years experience in MATLAB or equivalent analytical tools for algorithm development, simulation, and comprehensive documentation.
  • Minimum of 14 years experience in practical laboratory using signal generators, digital oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, BERTS, and other sophisticated measurement equipment.
  • Minimum of 14 years experience in Electronic Warfare (EW) systems architecture and analysis or Communication systems architecture and analysis.
  • Minimum of 14 years experience in Software Defined Radios and Digital Signal Processing.
  • Minimum of 14 years experience in requirements analysis and management.
  • Minimum of 14 years experience in code revision management tools such as Git.
  • Minimum of 14 years experience supporting the proposal development processes.
  • Minimum of 14 years experience with Digital filters, Forward Error Correction (FEC), FPGA Design, Networking, Programming in C/C++/C#, and Simulink.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Science or Electrical Engineering.
  • PhD.
  • High-rate Communication Systems, Satellite Communication Systems, Spread Spectrum Systems, LPD/AJ Systems, Non-linear signal processing, MIMO, Phased Array Processing.
  • Proficiency in VHDL or Verilog development languages.
  • Experience implementing complex modem or DSP circuits in SW or programmable logic using FPGA devices.
  • ASIC design experience.
  • Familiarity with simulation, synthesis, and placement software tools such as ModelSim, Synplicity, Xilinx Vivado / ISE, and Altera Quartus development toolsets.
