Your day-to-day / What we are expecting from you / Your responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY: With direct guidance in a team environment, responsible for performing basic inspection requirements. RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities may include some or all of the following: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files. INSPECTION Perform basic parts inspection using gages and instruments such as micrometers, calipers, height gages and thread, plug and ring gages, hardness testers, spring tester or related inspection equipment to determine acceptability or rejection of parts. Operate surface analyzer to determine parts finish. Observe and perform audits of assembly and test, machining and other functions for compliance to procedures. Document acceptances and rejections. Route inspected parts per instructions. CALIBRATION Issue or remove parts from various areas. Perform basic calibration on various types of measuring and test equipment. Determine measuring and test equipment acceptability to tolerances. Use standards to make set-ups for calibration of measuring and test equipment. Issue and recall measuring and test equipment.
