Job Summary The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is seeking an individual with proven Change/Product Management and Business Analysis experience to support the successful maintenance and enhancement of the CMMS for the University Campus & Medical Center. This individual will be responsible for the Product Full Life-Cycle (Concept, Design, Develop, Test, Training, and Maintain) and all associated Change Management for the Maximo CMMS reporting directly to Business Applications Manager The incumbent will be responsible for the successful delivery, promotion of services, and supervision of cross-functional teams, all with the goal of delivering the highest level of customer satisfaction for UCSF Customers and Senior-Level management. This includes envisioning, proposing, and planning for expansion to support new services, applications, and business technologies (e.g. mobile, RFID, BIMS). The Business Systems Analysis Supervisor 2 role is responsible for taking ownership of project deliverables, assigned by the Manager. A key focus will be defining processes and organizing project components and personnel to facilitate software application solutions, the development of software and services, as well as the expansion and improvement of existing services. The Business Systems Analysis Supervisor 2 role is responsible for direct daily operations and supervision of staff who support all applications for Health Facilities. Includes documenting and translating functional requirements to system requirements. Directly interfacing with technical development managers, providing a measurable, consistent, and client-focused approach to the program, all while factoring in the required Change Management, with end-to-end accountability. The Business Systems Analysis Supervisor 2 will be responsible for training Customer Service Center and Faculties Maintenance personnel on processes and tools; oversees evaluation and prioritization of project change management and project coaching; provides regular analysis and feedback on all phases of projects to the Manager. The Business Systems Analysis Supervisor 2 will have extensive interaction with key departments to ensure successful project implementation; the role identifies strengths in available resources, identifies required skills and materials, and facilitates collaboration.
Provides direction to staff according to established policies and management guidance. Administers policies that directly affect subordinate staff. Recommends changes to department policies and practices. Identifies risks and responds accordingly. Provide priority setting and workflow analysis. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $94,400 - $201,800 (Annual Rate). Department Description The Facilities Management Department of UCSF Health is responsible for daily operations of facilities maintenance, repair, space modification, remodeling, and infrastructure-related construction projects in owned and leased buildings. This is achieved through the efforts of a hospital maintenance team of skilled crafts, contract engineers, architects, and outside contractors. The overall objective of the group's efforts is to ensure a high level of Environment of Care, operating systems reliability, and customer service on a daily basis in order to provide the best possible environment for patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related area and / or equivalent experience/training with an emphasis in computer science, data processing, computer information systems, or in a related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing and maintaining IBM Maximo
- 3-5 years experience in managing technical staff.
- Advanced Fluency in Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Advanced knowledge of business and process analysis functions.
- Advanced skills and methodologies associated with process and software design, modification, and implementation.
- Knowledge of business analysis processes and procedures and alignment and compliance with applicable policy and regulation.
- Strong critical thinking, persuasion/negotiation, mentoring, leadership/management, problem-solving, human resources policies and procedures relating to management responsibilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication, quantitative and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- IBM Maximo Certification
- Knowledge or experience in the Service Now application
- Knowledge of WebSphere and maintaining application servers
- 3-5 years of experience in the different reporting tools that support business and data analysis
