Night Shift Technical Processing Supervisor

Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma- Oklahoma City, OK Monday-Friday Night Shift with Flexibility

Essential Functions of Employment with DLO:
* Show up for work, on time & prepared each and every scheduled work day
* Perform all tasks and processes assigned to you including all tasks and processes you are fully qualified to perform and all tasks and processing that you may be over-qualified to perform
* Maintain a positive and supportive attitude throughout each and every scheduled work day & work as a collaborative team member with your fellow teammates on a daily basis

Main Duties: Oversee Specimen Processing, Imaging, Referrals and Tech Ops. Responsible for the overseeing following activities: training of all personnel, all daily operations of related departments, ensure all Compliance Policies are followed, low error rate, and productivity within company standards. Ensure maintenance of a safe, ergonomically sound, professional environment.

Required Knowledge: General laboratory knowledge, including the ability to use computers. Must have knowledge of QA and QC. Previous experience in Specimen Management and Referrals preferred.

Required Experience: AA/AS or equivalent combination of education and experience with 5 years' experience in a laboratory; Medical or production background preferred; internal candidates require minimum of two years in group lead/related role. Previous people leadership experience preferred

Special Requirements: Ability to maintain a professional courteous and pleasant attitude in times of heavy workload and stress. Teamwork with fellow employees is a must. Keyboard skills are important. Good customer service skills, professional appearance and attitude. Able to work flex hours as needed.
