The Lab Support Specialist is a dynamic role that combines responsibility for executing pharmaceutical lab projects at IFF's Wilmington site with a significant emphasis in technical report writing. This position allows for remote work (e.g. 1-2 days/week of technical writing), but also requires on-site support (e.g. 3-4 days/week of lab work). Application technologist responsibilities Contribute to/lead application projects utilizing IFF's excipients by generating ideas and concepts to meet current and anticipated customer needs and offer strong alternatives to competitive products. Preparing formulation samples with minimum supervision using standard pharmaceutical processing equipment such as mixers, blenders, granulators, tableting machines, etc. Develop expertise and provide technical solutions for pharmaceutical lab projects in support of critical customers, applications and/or new product development projects. Technical report writing responsibilities Collaborate with team members, senior scientists and researchers to write technical reports based on laboratory studies conducted by the team. Contribute to the design of new experiments and effectively driving projects through the lab project management process. Communicate results effectively, including data analysis, conclusions and recommendations.
