POSITION SUMMARY

The Operations Administrator plays a vital role in supporting the construction department, ensuring the efficient operation of daily activities. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills, a proactive, team-oriented attitude, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Lead the onboarding experience for new team members, ensuring they feel supported and ready to succeed from day one.
  • Be the go-to administrative support for our construction team, ensuring smooth operations through effective document management and organizational skills.
  • Help streamline payroll and time reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency for the field team.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and project milestones are met, keeping our teams informed and on track.
  • Play an important role in promoting a safe work environment by assisting with safety documentation and injury claims processing.
  • Provide essential technical and administrative support, ensuring the field team has what they need to succeed every day.
  • Join team meetings and contribute by capturing key insights, helping align operational and safety goals across the board.
  • Assist with the development and distribution of safety plans, supporting a proactive approach to jobsite safety.
  • Be an integral part of the day-to-day construction operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Take on new challenges and additional responsibilities as they arise, contributing to the success of the team.



QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Work Experience



  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate or bachelor's degree in business administration, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within the construction industry or related field.
  • Familiarity with onboarding and employee training processes.


Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities



  • Fluent in Spanish.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.
  • Experience with ERP systems and human resource management software is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with construction industry practices, safety regulations, and compliance requirements is preferred.
