Mechanical Planner

Opportunity Overview: Mechanical Planner - Full time 12-month Contract - Surry, VA

Are you interested in being part of an innovative team that supports Westinghouse's mission to provide clean energy solutions?WECTEC Staffing/Westinghouse has a great opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Planner to support Westinghouse project work at the Surry Power Plant in Surry, VA. This is a 12 month contract with potential to extend.

What your day-to-day looks like:

• Take Approved Design/Engineering Change Package and develop Work Order and write work steps for field implementation
• Field Engineering support to walkdown the modification for constructability
• Develop BOM (Bill of Material) for ordering of parts and issuance to the project

What we need to see from you:

• High School Graduate or Equivalent
• Additional education in Mechanical/Civil Engineering preferred
• Current Qualifications for Planning APS
• Experienced Mechanical / Civil Planner in the Nuclear Industry with history of Weld Map creation
• 6-8 + years of experience in the nuclear field
