Radnor, PA (Airgas HO) - Management How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Airgas is looking for a senior Program Manager to lead Airgas' branded SupplySync offering, which is part of our eBusiness solutions suite, and growing rapidly. This person will be responsible for overseeing the success of this program by helping to enable automated order-to-cash (OTC) solutions via our customers procurement platforms such as Coupa, JAGGAER, SAP Business Network (fka Ariba), among others. This role is responsible for creating and leading the execution of a strategic roadmap for the program, managing a team of Digital Integration project managers, improving our project review process and backlog and facilitating regular communications with key stakeholders, both internally and externally. S/He will serve as a subject matter expert on the evolving landscape of third party/procurement platform solutions and best practices.
  • Create a roadmap for the overall program; align deliverables and monitor program progress relative to objectives, including customer experience and financial (budget)

  • Define program governance (controls and metrics); track and extract KPIs for project reporting on an individual project basis for program summary level reporting; prepare and present metric reports for key Airgas stakeholders

  • Establish and obtain agreement for a Responsibility, Accountability, Consulting and Informing of program/project roles (RACI); identify and implement changes based on program roadmap

  • Identify, develop and institute best practices for program and project management, including change, risk and resource management; manage risks and issues, and take corrective measurements across program

  • Manage and lead stakeholder communications for the overall program

  • Formulate, organize and monitorinter-connected/inter-team projects, specific to customer eBusiness solution requests

  • Partner with Division/SA Digital Integration Managers to identify optimal solution(s) for the order-to-cash process as it relates to the customer request, recognizing an optimal solution may include the use of Airgas.com in conjunction with a digital integration; pursue opportunities to reduce special handling / manual processing wherever possible

  • Direct, develop and leadproject managers; determine necessary resourcing based on project queue; assign and manage project manager(s) to ensure successful project outcomes

  • Develop, monitor and help influence projectdeadlines and activities; resolve individual projects' higherscopeissues

  • Work with Division Digital Integration Managers, eBusiness Managers, eBusiness Solutions & Support team members, and other stakeholders to enhance the customer implementation process and to identify and address underutilized solutions

  • Manage/enhance program documentation such as the program and/or project initiation document

  • Provide project process(es) / SOP's (standard operating procedures), track business spend management across projects; document and communicate to Airgas project stakeholders, customers for potential TCO (total cost of ownership) opportunities to be communicated to customers

The ideal candidate will be a strong leader, experienced in cross-functional management of teams with various disciplines, and able to produce results in a timely and effective manner; including development of efficient strategies and tactics. The goal is to ensure the eBusiness Solutions program focuses on delivering increased digital OTC transactions, reducing manual entry, providing enhanced customer-experience(s) and fostering cross-functional team cohesiveness. This person is expected to effectively communicate and lead through influence to drive implementation decisions based on business development/growth, improved transaction efficiencies and competitive differentiation with our eBusiness offering(s).

  • Minimum 7-10 years of related experience; procurement platform experience preferred

  • BS/BA in operations, program management, and/or a relevant field or relevant work experience

  • Ability to be a business liaison to technical teams and/or proficient in OTC technology

  • Proven experience as a Program Manager or other managerial position

  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage several priorities simultaneously

  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods

  • Proficient in program evaluation and change management principles/practices

  • Advanced knowledge of Google Workspace applications a plus

  • Working knowledge of program/project management software

  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
