Technical Service Manager

IFF Health Sciences is the industry leader in probiotic and microbiome innovation. We are seeking a Technical Application Manager specializing in Probiotic Dietary Supplements for Pet Health segments. The candidate will play a crucial role in developing and implementing probiotic solutions for pet health products and will have strong track record in delivering technical expertise and translating that knowledge into commercial ready products. In addition, will have a deep understanding of the pet supplements market, a passion for pets' health and wellness, and a proven track record in product management or related fields.

Background and Experience:

• Advanced degree in Biology, Veterinary Science, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in similar position, preferably in the pet supplements, health, or nutrition industries
• Understanding of probiotics and other biologicals, their mechanisms of action, benefits, and applications specifically for pet health.
• Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products on a global scale.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Job Requirements:

• Provide expert guidance to internal teams, customers, and partners. Address inquiries related to product functionality and usage.
• Work closely with our research and development teams. Stay informed about product developments, improvements, and emerging trends related to pet probiotics.
• Engage with our most technical customers, including veterinarians. These experts seek evidence-based information and appreciate nuanced discussions.
• Translate complex technical details into clear, concise language. Explain how our probiotic supplements enhance pet health.
• Provide training and support to sales and marketing teams to enhance product knowledge and positioning.
• Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product development and positioning.
• Attend conferences, trade shows, and customer visits.
