Job Description Job Title: Part-Time Official (IMSA Engineering Support) Department: Competition FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Prepared Date: September 30, 2024 Reviewed Date: September 30, 2024 SUMMARY: This person is responsible for supporting engineering tasks and at-track scrutineering electronics, telemetry, and data systems across multiple series and classes. Support of development and integration of data acquisition systems, in-car marshalling systems, timing systems. Works closely with IMSA Engineers, race teams, and suppliers to ensure system functionality and operational compliance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. REASONING ABILITY Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. OTHER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Customer service, people skills, represent Company. Use of computer is required. Position is safety sensitive and participates in the corporate Substance Abuse Program (SAP).
