Job Summary Applies advanced knowledge of business development to lead and facilitate strategic growth projects and initiatives. Implements operational changes that expand the reach of existing clinical programs, increase access to services, and improve patient care delivery. Drives initiatives that leverage technology and standardize processes.
An important member of the BCH Regional Network Development Office (BReNDO), the Program Manager, BCH Regional Network Development Office (Program Manager), under direction from the Chief Clinical Strategy Officer of the UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital, coordinates and aligns the various program components within the Benioff Children's Hospital physician and hospital network. The Program Manager supports activities collaboratively across all relevant functions including faculty physicians, hospital outreach team members, physician liaisons, strategy, and UCSF Health Network leadership within UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital and UCSF Health Care Network.
Activities include projects related to aggregating and presenting data from various sources across the team, aligning goals and activities under BReNDO, and coordinating reporting on various outreach efforts initiated by the BReNDO team. The Program Manager independently manages and administers the BCH Network Dashboard utilizing Tableau dashboards as well use of the Salesforce CRM tool. The Program Manager researches, analyzes, monitors, and evaluates Network referral data to report on Network development activities to higher-level administration. The incumbent will manage BCH Regional Network Development Office Quality & Access Improvement projects and report on metrics to leadership. The Program Manager will work closely and collaboratively with the physician liaisons and marketing colleagues at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals, ensuring customer satisfaction with the working relationship and the quality of assigned deliverables, special projects, and other duties as assigned.
The Program Manager is a visible position that represents UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals and UCSF Health Care Network strategic service areas in all interactions with physicians, staff, and all levels of management. The incumbent must be comfortable working under pressure with the ability to multitask, set priorities, and work effectively in both team and independent environments.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on several factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $118,300 - $268,900 (Annual Rate). Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related area or four years of experience.
- Four years or more of relevant/applicable experience.
- Advanced analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to assess complex issues and develop solutions.
- Advanced planning, project management, change management, and process improvement skills.
- Advanced interpersonal skills to lead and work collaboratively and effectively with multi-disciplinary, cross-functional teams.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to positively interact with executives, providers, and staff at all levels.
- Advanced ability to develop comprehensive reports and presentations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office software and database applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).
- Demonstrated leadership skills to motivate and influence others.
- Ability to achieve measurable results in a diverse stakeholder landscape balancing competing and conflicting interests.
- Ability to work onsite two days a week in San Francisco and travel to other sites within the Bay Area when needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related area.
- In-depth knowledge of business development concepts, best practices, and functions.
- Knowledge of a CRM product, particularly Salesforce.
- Knowledge of data and analytic tools and dashboards, including Tableau.
