SUMMARY

The position is responsible for maintaining accuracy of SAP for Resins, Compound and Plasticizer operations. This position is also responsible for all packaged finished goods. In addition, this position is heavily involved in the month-end closing process and ensuring that month-end numbers are accurate by verifying production and consumption. This position assists in miscellaneous projects and is responsible for various spreadsheets.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

May include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Responsible for Daily Production reporting and Inventory reconciliation.
  • Calculate Resin consumption based on PI sheets.
  • Daily input of railcar volume.
  • Verify railcar (Finished Goods, raw materials) to Yardmaster system.
  • Submit Raw Materials on Consignment data to Vendors.
  • Assist with railcar inventory.
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in a safe and environmentally sound manner while adhering to all company policies and procedures.
  • Provide backup coverage for Resin Logistics Clerk.
  • Attend and actively participate in weekly planning meeting by providing input and feedback.
  • Have ISO internal audit responsibilities
  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures
  • Other duties assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business related field.
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Windows based software (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Manufacturing environments includes: dust, outdoors, high noise levels.

Some of the work may be required in the operating units which can require usage of required PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, etc. May also result in exposure to outside elements and may require usage of stairs and elevators. Travel including air travel or auto travel may occasionally be required.
