Job Purpose:

The Director Division Controller will be responsible for all financial aspects of regional operations including financial forecasting, planning, budgeting, and financial control systems. Additionally, the Director Division Controller will work closely with the Manufacturing Operations Leaders to assist in all aspects of the business, including, but not limited to, Operations efficiency, costs, process improvement, internal control development and compliance, sophisticated financial analysis, project specific analysis and general business partnership. This position will be located in Austin or Houston Texas.

Nature of Duties:



  • Develops and directs the activities of professional staff involving the financial aspects of regional operations including financial forecasting, planning, budgeting, credit and collections, cost accounting, and financial control systems.
  • Manages and directs staff to conduct all routine procedures and duties associated with the regional controller organization.
  • Provides advice and counsel to regional operating management to ensure the optimum performance of the region.
  • Interprets financial data collection to influence, recommend, or impel management toward logical decisions consistent with company objectives.
  • Set up and monitor systems of internal control consistent with direction provided by the Group Controller and Manager of Tax & Treasury.
  • Monitors regional credits and collections.
  • Prepares financial projections and company status reports to regional and corporate management as required and coordinates discussions with corporate management on financial matters.
  • Identifies and implements programs that control the corporation's financial risk, including implementation of programs established by the Group Controller and Manager of Tax & Treasury.
  • Develops and implements systems to control the manufacturing operation costs and maintain tank monitor product lines generally customer profitability.


Education and Experience:



  • BA or equivalent plus 10 or more years of related experience.
  • Manufacturing environment industry experience is strongly desired.
  • Must possess analytical, organizational planning, communication, budgeting and forecasting ability and the ability to work independently in a changing environment
  • International experience is not required but would be a definite asset.
  • Experience in the Contract Metal Fabrication, Machining, or other component level manufacturing industries.
  • Experience working in a fast paced and dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • Strong presentation/interpersonal skills & ability to deal at an Executive level
  • Confident and 'hands on' personality with strong problem solving and issue management skills.
  • Experience with fully integrated manufacturing and financial IT systems (Oracle experience preferred).
  • CPA or CMA preferred.

Salary ranges: $130,000 - $165,000
