The Department of Landscape Architecture, School of Architecture at the University of Virginia seeks applications to fill non-tenure-track instructional Lecturer positions for Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 semesters. Specialized subject areas of particular need may include, but are not limited to: Studio, Seminar, Lecture, Intensive Short Course, Visual, Discussion, Independent Study and/or Workshop. Qualified incumbents may be hired into one or more of the specialized areas (Undergraduate and/or Graduate Courses). Other duties may include, but are not limited to: organizing guest lectures, course-specific advising, developing or reviewing curricula, advising, guiding students in their research papers, grading, preparing course material for on-line delivery, and organizing and leading field trips. The University will perform background checks on all new hires prior to employment. This position will also require an Education Verification.
