About MSU Denver MSU Denver enrolls over 16,000 students, where nearly 60% are first generation and over 55% are students of color. Position Summary The Behavioral Health Career Navigators work within the MSU Denver Health Institute. The Behavioral Health Career Navigators (BHCN) work with a diverse student population to prepare them for jobs in the Denver Mental health workforce. These students are seeking a degree in one of our Health Institute departments and receive training in culturally diverse patient-centered care. This is a grant-funded position reporting to the Associate Director of the Health Institute. This project combines launching a new format of a Health Scholar program targeted to graduate students as well as coordinating internship training and placement. This position recruits, advises, provides resources, coordinates service, delivers programming, and coordinates with external partners for students majoring in mental health related fields. In addition, this position will collect and report data and track field placement for internships as well as post graduate positions. Responsibilities Student Support Services - 20%

Salary for Announcement Under Colorado law, MSU Denver is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role and should not offer a salary outside of the range posted in this job announcement. This range takes into account a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, analysis of internal equity, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience. The salary range for this position is $45,300 - $68,000. The anticipated hiring range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is $52,000 - $62,000.
