This is a twelve (12) week paid internship program beginning May 2025. You must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program with an expected graduation date in Fall 2025 or Spring 2026. Location - Houston Summary: We are seeking a motivated, dynamic, personable, and professional Land & Right-of-Way Intern for our summer program to join our team! Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * The main objective for the intern is to become familiar with real estate principals, rules and regulations pertaining to rights of way and other land rights associated with the gathering, processing, transmission and storage assets in our energy portfolio, gaining experience in acquiring, maintaining and operating those rights to protect the assets. * Responsibilities will vary but may include estimating, budgeting, reporting, administrative requests, renewals, permitting, document preparation and redlining, damage settlements, title research, GIS/mapping, project development and management. Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below: * Enrolled in an undergraduate degree program majoring in business, energy management, real estate or pre-law disciplines and at a minimum completion of sophomore level courses. * General requirements include self-motivated individuals, involvement in activities outside college studies. * Above average GPA Preferred qualifications: * Proficiency with MS Office * Must possess a strong willingness to learn * Willing to travel * Excellent attention to details. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Must be able to adapt well to rapidly changing priorities and responsibilities * Ability to organize, perform and prioritize various functions in a fast paced environment * Must be a team player, and able to work effectively with a diverse workforce and with various levels within the organization |
