| Crisdel Group, Inc. has a position available for a Concrete Finisher. The Concrete Finisher is responsible for the overall quality of leveling and texturizing of sidewalks, driveways, etc. on concrete surfaces. We require that they be committed to the total team effort by contributing to the proper completion under the direction of the foreman. 
 Tasks & Responsibilities
 
 The following duties are descriptive and not exhaustive. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment to the position. Major duties include the following:
 
 
 
 Maintain consistent quality and workmanship texture in handwork.Checks the concrete forms for appropriate depths and angles before the concrete is poured.Assure all joints are properly matched.Cuts and removes all surface imperfections before the concrete has fully hardened.Maintain cut off saw in safe operating condition.Assure good hand and power tool skills.Assist in handwork, prep work and cleanup as directed by the foreman.Keep compaction personnel informed when handwork areas are ready for compaction.Performs all functions as directed by foreman in conjunction with preparation, layout, cleaning, compaction, and finishing operations.

 Qualifications
 
 
 
 High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
 
 
 Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience working within the road construction industryAbility to read, understand and complete job related documents and formsAbility to kneel, stoop, crouch, balance, climb, crawl, and pullAbility to calculate mathematical figures such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volumeAbility to work in a team environmentMust be able to climb ladders, scaffolds and stair towersMust be able to lift and carry at least 50-90 poundsMust be able to stand, stoop, bend, and crouch for extended periods of timeCapable of operating concrete vibrators for extended periods of timeMust be able to pour, grade and finish concreteKnowledge road construction materials, road construction processes and industry requirements.Understanding of computerized controls and electronics.Must have strong interpersonal skills and communication skills (written and verbal)Demonstrate professionalismHave a sense of urgency to meet deadlinesMulti-task and set priorities effectivelyExcellent hand, eye and foot coordinationMust comply with the company's drug and alcohol testing requirementsValid driver's license issued within the United States clear of multiple and/or major violationsSuccessfully pass a pre-employment (post-offer) drug screen and motor vehicle records check; a criminal background check will also be conductedIn compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
