Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Technician with experience in Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) operation, laser part scanning, and general metrology. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in quality assurance, a strong understanding of metrology principles, experience with CMM programming, and the ability to work both on the production floor and in a lab environment. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards. Our preferred qualifications: - 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance, within a manufacturing environment. - Experience with CMM programming and operation, including scanning parts. - Metrology certification or extensive experience with metrology equipment and practices. - Proficiency with quality management software and data analysis tools. - Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). - Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ISO, AS9100) and quality systems. - Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
