Here's what you'd do:

• Electromagnetic Effects (EME) Engineering is responsible for engineering analysis and tasks in the Military and Commercial Aircraft business area.
• Provides ongoing support for aircraft development and systems modifications, including definition of EME requirements, design support, integration, and testing.
• Supports broad EME design support areas such as lightning, grounding, bonding, shielding, EMI, EMC, EMP, antenna analyses, site and link margin, HIRF, HERF/HERP/HERO, and other aspects of EME as defined by MIL-STD-464.
• Set the highest ethical standards for self and others.

Starting Pay: $80/hr.

Hours: 9/80 Schedule - 1^st Shift.

Length: Temp (5 Months).

• Bachelor's Degree in EME or RF Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years experience in the aircraft/aerospace industry, commercial or military.
• Minimum of 7 years experience in EME modeling tools such as FEKO, HFSS, Antenna Magus, and CST Studio.

• Master's Degree.
• Knowledge of Compliance for EME per MIL-STD-464 and MIL-STD-461/RTCA DO-160.
• Ability to work on and around aircraft and travel for testing if necessary.
• Hard-working, technically competent, possess pride in ownership and a good work ethic, have good interpersonal and decision-making/critical thinking skills, and be adaptable to change.
• Able to lead others, manage task budgets & schedules, and communicate and present to an audience.
• Mid-level knowledge of tools such as AutoCAD, MatLab, MathCAD, and TeamCenter United.
• Good communicator and ability to generate professional EME test procedures/reports.
• Competent in standard MS Office software tools (Excel, Word).
• iNARTE Certified
• EMC Engineer certification.
• Working knowledge and design for control of EMI or TEMPEST (preventing compromise of classified signals/data).
• Design for prevention of system upset from EMP.
• Familiarity with EM spectrum supportability and processes associated with obtaining RFA (Radio Frequency Authorization).
