Position Highlights:

• Position: Diagnostic Imaging Assistant
• Location: Swedish Hospital - Chicago, IL.
• Part Time: 24 Hours/week
• Hours: Monday - Friday (5:30p - 10:30p), with Rotating weekends (9a-5:30p)

General Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Imaging Services with accountability to the Team Facilitator and the Team, assists the Technologist by providing a variety of key services in support of the Imaging Department including multiple clerical and patient service tasks.

What you will need:

• Education: The level of knowledge normally obtained through the completion of four years of high school.
• Certification: Obtains and maintains CPR certification through the American Heart Association within three months of hire.
• Experience: Minimum of six months experience working with the public; some medical background preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology is desired at time of hire; must complete medical terminology course within first year in position if not completed prior to hire.
