Position Summary:

The HVAC Technician will estimate materials, supplies and equipment required to perform work assignments. Determining the means and methods to be used in accomplishing assigned tasks and secures appropriate materials, supplies and equipment from stock and with appropriate approval from suppliers is also a job duty of the HVAC Technician. Another responsibility of the HVAC Technician is to install, maintain, repair, overhaul, and calibrate all types of heating, ventilating and air conditioning equipment including pumps, boilers, burners, temperature controls, thermostats, air conditioning and ventilating units, condensers, fans, evaporators, controls, related electrical apparatus and smoke and fire detecting and damping systems.

Requirements:

A High School Diploma or Equivalent

Maryland Class C driver's license

Experience:

Four years of HVAC Apprenticeship experience or 10 years of relevant work experience required

Shift: Dayshift, 40 hours per week , Full Time. On-call work required.

Pay Rate: $36.35 per hour

Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, 4940 Eastern Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21224

Salary Range: Minimum $36.35 per hour - Maximum $36.35 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
