Summary: The Sourcing Specialist is responsible for executing sourcing strategies to reduce costs and analyzing vendor spend. A successful candidate should have experience participating in sourcing events and category analysis. Experience in the fuel/midstream/energy space is also desired. The scope of the position will include preparation and execution of sourcing processes, contract & supplier management, and preparing supplier scorecards. Position may be based out of our Dallas or Philadelphia office. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist with analysis, development and implementation of cost savings initiatives Provide analysis and research to help sourcing team determine procurement activities Coordinate and assist with negotiations, contract development, contract implementation, and supplier contract compliance Work with appropriate operations team as needed on identified areas of opportunity Quantify and model financial savings related to opportunity Prepare for and participate in ongoing business reviews to ensure suppliers are performing to contracted obligations and service levels Solicit advice from manager regarding procurement processes and protocol and apply appropriate solutions to issues for stakeholders Act as a buyer as needed to support operations and ensure purchasing process is carried out appropriately Requirements: Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below: Bachelor's degree in a business, supply chain, or technical discipline Customer-focused with excellent written, listening and verbal communication skills Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable Ability to structure and manage multiple priorities Service-oriented mindset, with a desire to ensure client satisfaction Ability to think strategically, conceptually and analytically to assess problems, identify and consider potential solutions, and make timely recommendations Years of work experience: 2 - 5 years of experience Data analytics, sourcing, procurement systems, and customer service. Business software applications: Microsoft Office, APTTUS/Agiloft or other contract management software, and SAP or other purchasing software. Working Conditions: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Usually, normal office working conditions. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing. Occasional overnight travel may be required. Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment. \| \| \| \| \|
