JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State Harrisburg School of Humanities invites applications for Adjunct Lecturer in German. Teaching assignments may require teaching day or evening classes, as needed. This is a part-time, adjunct faculty opening.

Job Duties
  • Teach 1-2 classes (4 credits each; up to a maximum of 9 credits per semester) on a semester-by-semester basis in German language, literature, and culture depending on expertise.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Master's degree or higher or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Must have completed MA in a related field required and experience teaching at the post-secondary level is preferred.
  • Commitment to high-quality instruction in a student-centered environment is desired.
  • Enthusiasm for working in a multidisciplinary environment is important.
