JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Five part-time employees are needed to assist the sleep research team with a 5-year NIH-funded longitudinal research project following up the sleep, cardiometabolic and neurocognitive health of 700 young adults approximately 18-30 years old. Duties include: phone calls to recruit subjects/participants for visits; obtain informed consent; conduct data collection, using structured interviewing; administer neurocognitive and psychological tests; EEG hook ups; monitor incoming data for accuracy; ensure data is entered correctly and reconciled per PI guidelines.

Work hours: Varied, Sunday - Saturday, 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. (approx. 12 hours/week). Part-time position: $12.00-$15.75/hour. Preference will be given to a student currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in the field of psychology or recent graduate.

Own transportation required to travel to affiliated research sites.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
