JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: A Research Technologist - life sciences position is available in the Yang lab in the Department of Cellular & Molecular Physiology at the Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA. The successful candidate will be responsible for lab ordering, lab organization and providing research support to postdocs and students in the lab. The research technologist will be expected to have received some training in common techniques in molecular biology, cell biology, or animal husbandry. The research technologist is expected to carry out an independent research project under the supervision of the PI and will receive additional training needed for the research project. This position will be filled at an Professional or Intermediate Professional Level depending on the candidate's experience and education. This position requiresaBachelor'sdegree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. for an Professional Level. Additional education and/or experience is required for higher level positions. This is a limited-term position funded for one year from date of hire, withpossibility of refunding.
