JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

We are seeking applications for the position of Campus Registrar to support the academic services and functions of the Penn State York and Penn State Mont Alto campuses in cooperation with the campus faculty, administration, University College, and the Office of the University Registrar. The position will be based at Penn State York.

This position offers a flexible work arrangement that combinesremoteand on-campus work.Questions related to flexible work should be directed to the hiring manager during the interview process.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and publish the schedule of classes and final exam schedule, providing a point of review for problems and ensuring resolution before publication.

  • Act as point of contact and assistance for a range of specialized processes of the registrar's office related to day-to-day registrar operations including requests for change of assignment, withdrawals, leaves of absence, and exception petitions

  • Maintain and distribute official enrollment data.

  • Provide data analysis in support of academic and administrative decisions.

  • Supervise graduation activities.

  • As liaison with University College and Office of the Registrar, communicate policies and procedures that ensure compliance with University, State, and Federal policies and procedures related to student records, including the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), and assist the campus community in interpreting and implementing these policies and procedures.

Competencies critical to success include:

The successful candidate will have a history of commitment to customer service, evidence of successful collaboration with faculty and staff, and familiarity with contemporary software used to support registrar functions.

Education and Experience Requirements:

This position requires a Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's degree with related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

This position requires successful completion of the following background checks:

  • PA State Police Criminal Background Check

  • PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form

  • Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is:

$61,800.00 - $89,600.00
