JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at the Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA is seeking a Human Research Technologist for a new research study, funded by the National Institute of Mental Health, examining mental health problems in youth. The human research technologist will work with Dr. Dara Babinski alongside a team of research technologists in order to successfully meet study goals (https://sites.psu.edu/abcresearchprogram).

Duties include recruiting/scheduling research participants, ordering supplies, administering study assessments, adhering to regulatory procedures, data entry and management, and assisting with manuscript preparation. Experience with EEG/ERP data collection is preferred, but not required. This is a 40-hour per week position (Monday-Friday), with some evening hours required.Work location is the Penn State Health Medical Group Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinic, 22 Northeast Drive, Hershey PA.

Minimum Education & Experience

Associate's Degree
No prior relevant work experience required

Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Preference will be given to applicants with training and interest in youth mental health and experience with neural assessments, including EEG/ERP, and programming software (e.g., E-prime) or MRI.

This is a limited-term position funded for one year from date of hire, withpossibility of refunding.

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades is:

$38,300.00 - $55,500.00
