Extrusion Operator

The ideal candidate
performs multiple setups and operations to produce tubular shapes out of
thermoplastic materials for manufacturing in a production/manufacturing
environment.

Job Summary

  • Break down, clean, set up and start extruders.
  • Identify the correct material in accordance with the shop order and produce quality part.
  • Must be able to develop speed and accuracy in the machine tear down and set up.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Able to read and interpret documents and follow instruction.
  • Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Must complete all assigned paperwork as required.
  • Ability to stand for 8-10 hours Ability to read and understand load plans

Required Experience and Education

  • Vocational, High school diploma, or general education degree (GED); or 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education, and experience.
