Resident Engineer - Civil Engineer

V3 Companies, a multidisciplinary AEC firm, is seeking a Resident Engineer in our Woodridge, IL office, where you will contribute to career-defining projects that reimagine our built and natural world.

You'll change the shape of your community by moving earth to pave the way for progress, creating impact that lasts. And, as part of our Construction Engineering team, you will collaborate with 450+ designers, engineers, and scientists to make meaningful, effective change across North America.

Here's what you'll do:

• Manage federal and state-funded projects, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.
• Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders.
• Provide oversight and guidance to sub-consultants.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.

We're looking for:

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 15 - 20 years of related experience, including 5 - 10 years as a Resident Engineer.
• Familiarity with IDOT specifications and documentation requirements.
• Proficiency in managing projects involving in-stream work permits.
• Experience with large concrete and steel structures.
• Hold a valid Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Familiarity with Class 1 Railroads and Meta is a bonus.
