Research Associate - Quantitative Bioscience Institute / Cell Engineering / Cell Culture Quantitative Bioscience Insstitute Full Time 80459BR Job Summary We are seeking a creative, collaborative, and motivated Staff Research Associate to join the UCSF Quantitative Bioscience Institute (QBI, qbi.ucsf.edu/) Research and Engineering to Accelerate Discovery (READY) Center Team. This role will focus on utilizing cutting-edge CRISPR gene editing methods to support cell engineering projects that are part of a larger research platform designed to study disease biology at the cellular level and identify new therapeutic modalities. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $28.04 - $45.09 (Hourly Rate). Motivated by problems of human disease, the QBI is committed to investigating fundamental biological mechanisms because ultimately solutions to many diseases have been revealed by unexpected discoveries in the basic sciences.
