Occupational Therapist I
Job Summary
This position is primarily located in Burn Unit of St. Francis Hospital.
Provides occupational therapy services across the age continuum including evaluations, planning
treatment programs and goals, rendering patient treatments, and discharge planning according to the
practice and standards of the California Board of Occupational Therapy and the American Occupational
Therapy Association. Provide effective, efficient, and quality care. Perform other duties as directed by
supervisor.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $53.20 - $71.79 (Hourly Rate).

A new way to care for San Francisco. Saint Francis Memorial Hospital and associated outpatient clinics
are now part of UCSF Health. Adding these hospitals give us the opportunity to offer primary and
secondary care in more places and increases UCSF Health's ability to care for patients with complex
medical needs. Combining community care with academic medicine makes convenient, comprehensive
care easier to access for all our patients.
UCSF Health Saint Francis Memorial Hospital is an accredited, not-for-profit community hospital that has
been providing exceptional health care in San Francisco for more than 100 years. As San Francisco's only
downtown hospital, Saint Francis is uniquely situated to care for international and domestic visitors, as
well as the residents that make up San Francisco's diverse population.
Located atop Nob Hill, Saint Francis is home to the largest burn center in Northern California, the both in
Burn Center, the Saint Francis Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Institute, and the Center for Pain
Management, to name a few.

Required Qualifications
- Possess a current license form the California Board of Occupational Therapy.
- 1-2 years of experience in care of acute and chronic patients in an inpatient orthopedic and/or rehabilitation setting.
- Possess a current CPR/BLS certification.
- BASIC LIFE SUPPORT-AHA
Preferred Qualifications
- Education Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy
License/Certification
- Possess a current license form the California Board of Occupational Therapy.
- Possess a current AHA CPR/BLS certification.
