The Department of Urology at the University of Minnesota Medical School is seeking an individual for a full-time clinical appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank on an academic or clinician track to join our practice based upon meeting departmental and University criteria for appointment. Duties of this position include engagement in clinical and/or basic science research, patient care in pediatric urology, and certain administrative duties. As an educator, the applicant should have the ability to attract students and residents to the field of urology/pediatric urology, including those from backgrounds traditionally underrepresented in surgery. About the Practice: Income Details: 2-year market competitive salary guarantee with the ability to exceed the production compensation program. Minimum qualifications include holding a MD degree and be board certified/eligble in urology with added certification or eligibility for certification in pediatric urology. Successful candidates will have strong surgical skills and be sensitive to the needs of patients from diverse backgrounds. Additional Requirements: About the Department

Pay Range: This role is dually employed by the University of Minnesota and University of Minnesota Physicians. Salary at the University of Minnesota is dependent upon academic effort of the person hired, and begins at $52,000. Clinical salary, aligned with clinical effort, is provided through University of Minnesota Physicians. Total salary is competitive with market and based on AAMC salary benchmarks.
