Construction Engineer

V3 Companies, a multidisciplinary AEC firm, is seeking a Construction Engineer in our Woodridge, IL office, where you will contribute to career-defining projects that reimagine our built and natural world.

You'll change the shape of your community by moving earth to pave the way for progress, creating impact that lasts. And, as part of our Construction Engineering team, you will collaborate with 450+ designers, engineers, and scientists to make meaningful, effective change across North America.

Here's what you'll do:

• Document progress, conduct inspections, and collaborate with Resident Engineers to maintain project integrity.
• Oversee and manage municipal construction projects from inception to completion.
• Develop and review project plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Resolve any issues or challenges that arise during construction.
• Prepare and present project reports and documentation.
• Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations and codes.

We're looking for:

• A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is preferred.
• Ideally, 2 to 10 years of related experience.
• EIT or PE is a plus
• Proven track record of successfully managing municipal construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
