Responsible for meticulously reviewing and harmonizing daily bank downloads, including Lockbox, ACH, and Wire Payments. This involves identifying the relevant customers, invoices, and payment amounts for accurate posting. They are tasked with proactively addressing any discrepancies or missing data before finalizing the payment posting. Additionally, the role encompasses processing various payment forms like Credit Cards and Checks as per business requirements. Ensuring the weekly and month-end reconciliation of General Ledger, Sub Ledger, and other balances with Accounts Receivable balance, resolving any discrepancies, falls under their purview.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Prompt and precise daily posting of accounts receivable payments received via bank channels.
  • Preparation of lockbox deposits for in-house received checks.
  • Compilation and submission of daily Credit Card Payment requests.
  • Notification to ARS and/or external customers concerning questionable payments, assisting in resolving issues like wrong currencies, discounts, and credits.
  • Reconciliation of AR balance with General and Sub-Ledgers on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Thorough review of all emails for posting and issue resolutions.
  • Matching and posting of adjustments, write-offs, and credit memos to customer accounts.
  • Maintenance and generation of month-end statements as per management directives.
  • Facilitation of AP Checks for overpayments and other miscellaneous items.
  • Delivery of high-quality and professional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly intermediate skills in Excel.
  • Completion of any additional tasks or duties assigned by the AR Manager.
