Currently announcing a vacancy for a computer technician. Job Summary Under the supervision of the Manager of Information Systems, this position is to support and maintain in-house and remote computer systems, desktops, office automation equipment and peripherals. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware and equipment, while ensuring optimal performance. This person will also troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user training and assistance where required. Essential Functions Duties include the following, as well as, others that may be assigned from time to time:
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities * Proven experience as computer technician or similar role. Physical Requirements and Work Environment Work involves moderately heavy work in an office setting. There is frequent need to stand, stoop, walk, sit, lift objects and perform other similar actions during the course of the workday. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent certificate, in addition to technical training in a job related environment. Associate's degree or technical diploma will be an advantage.
