Electronics Engineering Technologist Location: Dearborn, MI Pay Rate: $35.62/hour Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite Shape the Future of Automotive Technology Are you passionate about electronics, prototype development, and emerging vehicle technologies? This is an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with next-generation vehicle systems, custom electronics, and advanced technologies in a fast-paced engineering environment. Job Duties Develop and support prototype electronic circuits, systems, and components. Design custom printed circuit boards (PCBs) using Fusion 360 or similar software. Perform electrical system integration, wiring, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging. Collaborate with engineers, designers, and fabrication teams to build functional prototypes. Integrate prototype systems with production hardware and software. Create operating procedures, technical documentation, and training materials. Support demonstrations, leadership reviews, and product showcase events. Stay current with advancements in electronics, embedded systems, and emerging technologies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of experience in electrical system design, integration, testing, and debugging. 3+ years of PCB design experience using Fusion 360 or equivalent tools. Experience with automotive electrical systems, including displays, lighting, audio, and related technologies. Knowledge of embedded systems, electronic circuit design, and PCB layout. Familiarity with CAD software such as CATIA, Rhino, or Alias. Experience with programming languages such as C++, Node.js, Python, or similar. Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
