Job Duties

• Responsible for loading and unloading trucks
• Moving materials throughout the warehouse and production facility
• Supplying production lines with needed materials.
• Operates forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Stages and organizes products for shipment
• Inspects materials for quality, and maintains a clean and safe work environment while following all company safety policies and procedures.

Experience Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling environment
• Comfortable loading and unloading trucks, moving materials,
• Operating forklifts or other material handling equipment.
• Experience moving, organizing, loading, or unloading materials in warehouse or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to accurately identify products, labels, inventory locations, and shipping documentation.
• Knowledge of safe material handling practices and workplace safety procedures.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment as required.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and dependable work habits.
• A strong commitment to safety, accuracy, and productivity is required, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience loading and unloading trucks
• Experience operating a sit-down forklift in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment is preferred.
• Experience using material handling equipment, maintaining inventory accuracy, and working in a fast-paced setting are highly desired.
• Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory control procedures, warehouse documentation, or Lean warehouse practices is considered an asset.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a demonstrated commitment to safety and productivity are also preferred.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, teamwork, attention to detail, and safe work habits are well positioned for success as a Warehouse Material Handler.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely move products using manual or powered material handling equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently in warehouse or manufacturing environments while following established safety procedures.
• Employees must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout their shift.
• The role involves regularly loading and unloading trucks, operating a sit-down forklift, and working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Candidates must be able to safely navigate the facility, maintain awareness of their surroundings, and follow all safety procedures while performing physical job duties.
