Internship, Employee Referrals (Winter/Spring 2027)

This position is expected to start January 2027 and continue through the entire Spring term (i.e., through April) or into early Summer 2027, if available. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time, for most internships.

International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.

Tesla's Employee Referrals program is hiring an intern to join the Bay Area team. This program is responsible for building pipelines, designing engaging campaigns, and auditing reports. As a team member, you will support referral campaigns, manage metrics through dashboards, and conduct weekly audits. This role requires strong customer service and reporting skills.

Location: Fremont, CA

• Conduct bi-weekly audits to determine referral award eligibility
• Oversee and maintain an e-ticketing platform
• Resolve daily referral inquiries via e-ticketing
• Maintain employee referrals for reporting, preparing reports, propose business process enhancements, and automate tasks
• Drive referral campaigns to support business-critical hiring ramps
• Drive awareness for the program through compelling internal campaigns
• Partner with People Content on employee communications
• Create and maintain positive employee relations
• Communicate recommendations for initiatives and influence stakeholders through data
• Partner closely with recruiting on maintaining the integrity of the program

• Currently working towards a Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Organizational Psychology, Communications or Business, or related field
  
• Experience using MS Office suite is required 1(Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities
• Extremely detail-oriented
• Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage projects in an extremely fast-paced environment
• Deep interest in employee relations
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to interact with all levels of the organization in a professional manner
• Background in customer service or administration
