Position Title: Production Associate
Wage: $17.00-$18.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am-4:30pm Jump into a fast-paced production environment where you'll help keep the line running smoothly! As a Production Associate, you'll support production runs, operate equipment, stage materials, perform quality checks, pack and palletize finished products, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys teamwork, staying active, and taking pride in producing quality products. Previous food manufacturing experience is a plus, but training is available! Production Associate Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Follow all safety and quality guidelines - Assist in preparing production line for runs, including proper safety checks and staging of raw materials - Assist with production counts, quality checks, and downtime recording - Operate all production equipment to defined standards and product specification targets - Properly handle raw materials and assist in identifying potential quality issues - Escalate issues to Operator, Production Supervisor, and Warehouse Manager as necessary - Maintain production and warehouse areas in proper state of cleanliness and follow all SOPs; follow GMPs and keep company in compliance with certifications (Organic, Kosher, HACCP, SQF, etc.) - Maintain 5s in the production department Production Associate Requirements: - Previous food manufacturing experience strongly preferred - Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety and PPE requirements - Knowledge of manual and power jack operation (training will be provided, as necessary) - Basic reading and math skills - Basic computer skills, Redzone experience a plus - Good communication and teamwork skills - Ability to lift 50 pounds - Ability to stand entire shift QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
