Primary Purpose of Organization Unit
The primary purpose of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions is to attract new students and to support them through the enrollment process, ultimately contributing to the overall institutional enrollment goals.
Primary Purpose of Position
The primary purpose of the Administrative Associate in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions is to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the unit, including facilitating communication with prospective students, applicants, families, and visitors; supporting admissions document and decision letter processing; assisting with budget and purchasing activities; managing office inventory and resources; and coordinating general office operations. The position contributes to efficient, accurate, and responsive admissions services while providing clerical and administrative support to the Admissions team.
Job Description
The Administrative Associate in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to the admissions team and assists with serving prospective students, families, applicants, and visitors. This role supports the efficient operation of the office through customer service, facilitating inbound phone calls and emails, document and decision letter processing, budget management support, inventory management, records maintenance, and general office coordination. The position provides accurate admissions information, assists with day-to-day administrative processes, and helps ensure timely and effective support for students and the overall operations of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
Management Preference
Minimum of High School diploma with customer service experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a versatile and goal oriented work environment.
