Linen Distributor Per Diem

The Storekeeper plays a vital role in supporting patient care by ensuring the timely ordering, receiving, storage, distribution, and delivery of medical supplies, linen, and equipment throughout UCLA Health. This position maintains accurate inventory levels and helps ensure clinical departments have the resources needed to provide exceptional patient care.

Working in a fast-paced healthcare environment, the Storekeeper collaborates closely with patient care units, outpatient clinics, procedural areas, interventional services, and radiology departments to manage inventory and support daily operations. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining organized storerooms, replenishing supplies, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring supplies are readily available when and where they are needed.

• Order, receive, stock, distribute, and deliver medical supplies, linen, and equipment across UCLA Health facilities in accordance with established service standards.
• Maintain clean, organized, and accurately stocked inventory storage areas and supply rooms.
• Fill supply requests, prepare orders for delivery, and maintain accurate inventory and receiving documentation.
• Perform physical inventory counts and ensure accurate data entry within inventory management systems.
• Reconcile packing slips, purchase orders, and delivered products to verify accuracy and completeness.
• Partner with clinical staff to understand supply needs, workflow requirements, and inventory staging preferences.
• Utilize inventory management software, handheld devices, and third-party applications to monitor stock levels and replenish inventory to established PAR levels.
• Configure and maintain products and inventory locations within supply management systems.
• Monitor inventory utilization trends and adjust PAR levels to support changing operational and patient care demands.
• Identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency and recommend inventory cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with departmental policies, inventory control procedures, and safety standards.

The Storekeeper serves as a critical member of the supply chain team, helping ensure clinicians have timely access to the supplies and equipment necessary to provide safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care across UCLA Health.

Pay Rate: $27.96
