Job Title: Accounting Associate III Location: Hampshire, IL 60140 Duration: 6+ Months Schedule: Monday - Friday ( 8:30 am to 5:30 am Central Time Zone with 1 hour lunch break (Lunch: 1-hour unpaid break) Interviews: Will be done over Teams Key Responsibilities: Conduct detailed accounting reconciliations monthly Assist with month end journal entries: account for inventory, pending invoices, intercompany transactions, etc. Partner with Operations and communicate complex financial themes in a succinct manner Maintain accurate standard costing to reflect true product profitability Financial analysis or costs and profitability trends Dress Code: Business casual (e.g., jeans with button-down shirt) Qualifications & Experience: 3-7 years of experience in Cost Accounting or related accounting functions in a food manufacturing environment Strong understanding of accrual accounting and SOX compliance. Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment. Familiarity with accounting systems such as UMS and Microsoft Dynamics NAV (NAV) preferred. Prior experience with SAP and/or in the food service or distribution industry is a plus. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong communication skills and a collaborative team approach. Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems and processes.
