Human Resources Generalist

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a collaborative and employee-focused Human Resources Generalist to support daily HR operations in a manufacturing environment. This role serves as a key resource for employees and leaders, providing support in employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, payroll, and HR programs while helping foster a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for employee HR-related questions and support.

• Assist with employee relations matters, investigations, conflict resolution, and corrective actions.

• Support recruiting activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer processing.

• Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientations, and employment documentation.

• Maintain employee records and process personnel actions, including hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations.

• Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment, leave administration, and employee inquiries.

• Support payroll processing, timekeeping audits, and attendance tracking.

• Partner with leaders on performance management, coaching, and employee development initiatives.

• Track HR metrics and support engagement, retention, and continuous improvement programs.

• Coordinate employee events, recognition activities, and plant engagement initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and HR procedures.

• Maintain confidentiality of employee and business information.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience.

• Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience.

• Strong knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, and personnel systems.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and HRIS systems.

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

• Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience administering FMLA and leave programs.

• Experience with ADP, Kronos, Workforce Management (WFM), or similar time and attendance systems.

• Experience supporting payroll and benefits administration.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000

Schedule: 2nd Split Shift (Monday-Friday), 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
