American Disposal Services is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to help grow our business throughout Northern Virginia while delivering the service our customers have come to expect. What You'll Do

• Develop new business opportunities throughout your assigned territory.
• Build relationships with business owners, property managers, HOA boards, and community leaders.
• Meet with prospective customers to evaluate their waste and recycling needs.
• Prepare and present service proposals and pricing recommendations.
• Negotiate service agreements and secure new business.
• Partner with operations, customer service, dispatch, and leadership teams to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Maintain regular contact with existing customers and identify opportunities to expand services.
• Stay informed on local market conditions and competitive activity.
• Accurately document customer interactions and sales activity within company systems.
• Achieve individual and team sales goals while supporting a culture of safety, service, and teamwork.

What We're Looking For

• Previous outside sales experience preferred.
• Previous waste industry experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A positive attitude and professional demeanor.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Experience in waste and recycling services, construction, property management, environmental services, transportation, or business-to-business sales is a plus.
