THE ROLE:

AMD's Data Center GPU Business Unit is seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager to lead marketing initiatives for AMD ROCm AI software and the broader AI partner ecosystem. This individual will play a critical role in accelerating the adoption of AMD Instinct GPU accelerators by driving product positioning, customer engagement, ecosystem partnerships, and go-to-market execution.

You will work across product management, engineering, developer relations, sales, corporate marketing, communications, and strategic partners to define and execute marketing strategies that showcase the value of AMD's open AI software stack and growing AI ecosystem.

THE PERSON:

This is a highly visible role ideal for a strategic marketer who can translate complex technologies into compelling customer value propositions while building strong partnerships across the AI industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own product marketing strategy and messaging for AMD ROCm and associated AI software offerings, including positioning, competitive differentiation, launch planning, and market education.
• Develop customer-facing content that demonstrates how developers and enterprises can maximize performance and accelerate AI innovation on AMD Instinct GPU accelerators.
• Partner with leading AI ecosystem partners, frameworks, and software vendors to drive joint go-to-market initiatives that expand awareness, engagement, and customer adoption.
• Build and maintain executive-level relationships with AI partner marketing, product, and business development teams to identify and execute high-impact co-marketing opportunities.
• Lead development of compelling content including presentations, keynote materials, customer success stories, solution briefs, whitepapers, blogs, videos, web content, and social media campaigns.
• Collaborate with sales, business development, and field teams to support pipeline generation, customer engagement, and strategic account initiatives.
• Drive launch planning and integrated marketing campaigns for ROCm releases, ecosystem partnerships, and strategic AI announcements.
• Monitor competitive trends, customer feedback, and industry developments to inform product positioning and marketing strategy.
• Influence internal and external stakeholders across multiple organizations to align on objectives and execute programs that drive measurable business impact.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven years of experience in product marketing, technical marketing, product management, or related roles within semiconductors, AI, cloud computing, enterprise software, or data center technologies.
• Strong understanding of AI infrastructure, machine learning frameworks, GPU computing, HPC, or developer platforms.
• Strong understanding of AI software stacks including ROCm, CUDA and ecosystems, including frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX, Triton, vLLM, SGLang, and other tools used by AI developers.
• Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into differentiated customer value propositions and compelling marketing content.
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
• Experience building and executing strategic partner marketing programs and joint go-to-market initiatives.
• Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and storytelling skills.
• Strong analytical capabilities with experience conducting competitive analysis and market research.
• Familiarity with marketing channels including content marketing, digital marketing, social media, PR, analyst relations, events, and field marketing.
• Experience working with AI frameworks and ecosystems such as PyTorch, JAX, Triton, Hugging Face, Kubernetes, or cloud AI platforms is highly desirable.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• MBA or advanced technical degree is a plus.

LOCATION:

• Location: Austin, TX (preferred) or AMD office locations as applicable.
• Hybrid work environment.
