Job Summary M-F 40hrs/wk Days Salary Range: $40.65 -$71.31 Pay is based on experience. Summary Accountable for interpreting the plan of medical care, assessing patients' clinical needs and nursing care, ensuring nursing care is provided safely and competently, providing individualized nursing care, and evaluating nursing care for groups of patients. Acts in a lead capacity by supporting and guiding other nursing staff. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions Maintains accurate and detailed patient reports and records. Administers medications to patients and monitors for reactions or side effects. Records patients' medical information and vital signs accurately and timely. Monitors, records, and reports symptoms or changes in patients' conditions. Collaborates with nurse managers and staff to assess staff learning needs and competencies. Demonstrates best practices and provides guidance for nursing staff to follow. May participate on teams and/or perform special projects and assignments. Qualifications Education Associate's Degree Nursing required or Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Credentials Registered Nurse [RN - State License] required Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support [ACLS] - Generic - HR Only preferred Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] Experience Clinical nursing experience 3-5 years required Supervisory experience preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Familiarity with the principles and skills needed for practical nursing to provide patient care and treatment. - Knowledgeable of the care required by respective age groups for which care is being provided. - Strong written and oral communication skills. - Ability to build strong relationships. - Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
