Non-CDL Delivery Driver

Location: Clackamas, OR Millwork

In this position, you'll safely transport and deliver products to customer job sites, represent our company professionally, and help ensure every delivery arrives accurately and on time. As a Non-CDL Delivery Driver, you will:

• Safely load, secure, transport, and deliver building materials and products to customer locations.
• Verify orders and delivery information to ensure complete and accurate deliveries.
• Unload materials safely while protecting products, customer property, and job site conditions.
• Serve as a professional representative of Builders FirstSource, providing excellent customer service and resolving concerns when they arise.
• Maintain delivery records, mileage logs, inspections, and other required documentation.
• Utilize handheld technology to complete delivery, inspection, and compliance requirements.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain Hours of Service (HOS) records.
• Keep company vehicles clean, organized, and operating in compliance with safety standards.
• Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment to load and unload products as needed.
• Assist with product returns, credit pickups, and related paperwork.
• Follow all company safety policies and participate in safety meetings and training programs.
• Support team operations and perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card within five (5) days of request.
• Fewer than five moving violations within the past five years.
• Basic math, measurement, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

• Previous delivery driving experience.
• Experience delivering building materials or operating delivery equipment.
• Forklift and material-handling equipment experience.

This position involves working in indoor and outdoor environments and may include exposure to varying weather conditions, dust, noise, moving equipment, and other industrial conditions.

Candidates must be able to:

• Frequently lift and carry up to 100 pounds.
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 200 pounds with assistance.
• Climb, kneel, push, pull, and perform other physical activities throughout the workday.
• Safely enter, exit, and operate delivery vehicles.
• Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to safety and accuracy.
